Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Chef AI, listed on the App Store as AI Chef: Meal Planner (the "App"), and related services provided by LHL GLOBAL LLC ("LHL GLOBAL," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility and accounts

You must be legally able to enter these Terms. If you are not old enough to do so where you live, a parent or legal guardian must authorize your use. Chef AI can be used locally without an account, but cloud backup, synchronization, billing, and some account services require sign-in.

You are responsible for your device, your authentication methods, the accuracy of information you provide, and activity under your account. Do not share authentication codes or permit unauthorized access. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

2. Permission to use Chef AI

Subject to these Terms and the Apple Standard EULA, LHL GLOBAL grants you a limited, personal, nonexclusive, nontransferable, revocable right to use Chef AI for lawful personal purposes. Chef AI, its software, visual design, trademarks, and original materials are owned by LHL GLOBAL or its licensors. Except for the limited right above, no rights are transferred to you.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use Chef AI unlawfully, fraudulently, or to harm another person;
• submit content you do not have the right to use, or use imports to evade access controls, paywalls, or copyright restrictions;
• probe, disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or bypass security, account ownership, purchase verification, rate limits, or feature controls except where applicable law expressly allows;
• introduce malicious code, automate abusive requests, scrape the service, or interfere with other users or providers;
• misrepresent AI-generated material as verified professional, medical, or safety advice; or
• use Chef AI to infringe privacy, intellectual property, publicity, or other rights.

4. Your content and imported content

You retain your rights in content you create or provide. You represent that you have all rights and permissions needed to submit, upload, save, or import that content and to allow Chef AI and its processors to handle it for the features you request.

You give LHL GLOBAL a limited, worldwide license to host, process, reproduce, transform, and transmit your content only as reasonably needed to provide, secure, synchronize, troubleshoot, and improve the requested service. This license ends when the content is deleted from active systems, subject to operational backups, synchronization safeguards, legal requirements, and processor retention.

Recipes and other material on publisher or provider websites remain subject to their owners' rights and terms. Importing or saving a reference does not transfer ownership. Preserve source attribution and use imported content only as permitted by law and the source's terms.

5. AI output, nutrition, and food safety

Chef AI uses automated systems that can produce inaccurate, incomplete, inconsistent, or unsuitable results. AI-generated recipes, ingredient recognition, meal plans, substitutions, timing, and nutrition estimates are suggestions—not verified facts.

• No medical advice: nutrition information is for general informational and planning purposes. Chef AI is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, or prevent disease. Consult a qualified professional for health decisions.
• Allergies and dietary needs: independently check every ingredient, label, cross-contamination risk, and preparation method. Do not rely on filters or generated text to identify allergens or guarantee compliance with a diet.
• Food safety: independently verify safe storage, handling, freshness, cooking temperatures, cooking time, and doneness using authoritative guidance and appropriate equipment.

You are responsible for deciding whether content is appropriate for you and anyone you serve.

6. Subscriptions and App Store billing

Paid Chef AI subscriptions offered in the iOS App are processed by Apple through your Apple Account. Available plans, storefront pricing, taxes, trial eligibility, payment authorization, and billing are determined or presented by Apple. Chef AI does not collect your complete card number or CVV.

Subscriptions automatically renew for the period shown by Apple unless you cancel through your Apple Account at least as required by Apple's terms. If a trial is offered, Apple determines eligibility; when the trial ends, the subscription converts to the paid plan shown in Apple's purchase confirmation unless canceled. Manage or cancel under your Apple Account subscription settings. Refund requests are handled by Apple under its policies.

Restore Purchases can ask Apple and our subscription-management provider to restore eligible AI Chef purchases to the appropriate Chef AI account. A purchase associated with a different Chef AI account may require you to sign in to that original account or contact support. Deleting a Chef AI account does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription.

7. Third-party services

Chef AI relies on services such as app stores, authentication, cloud hosting, AI, subscription management, email, recipe publishers, search, and nutrition or recipe data providers. Their content, availability, and conduct are governed by their own terms. Links or integrations do not mean LHL GLOBAL controls or endorses all third-party content.

8. Service changes and availability

We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features, provider integrations, limits, or support when reasonably necessary. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, permanent storage, compatibility with every device, or that a generated or imported result will remain available. Keep independent copies of content you cannot afford to lose.

9. Suspension and termination

You may stop using Chef AI at any time. We may restrict or terminate access when we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, created security or legal risk, failed to pay an applicable charge, or when necessary to protect users or the service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination—including ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, and accrued obligations—will survive.

10. Disclaimers

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CHEF AI AND ITS CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." LHL GLOBAL DISCLAIMS IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT CHEF AI WILL BE ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR ACCURATE, OR THAT DATA WILL NEVER BE LOST. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LHL GLOBAL AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION ARISING FROM CHEF AI. LHL GLOBAL'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS ARISING FROM THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID LHL GLOBAL FOR CHEF AI IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR US$100. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law or to liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms to reflect changes to Chef AI, law, or our operations. We will post updated Terms here and update the date above. Your continued use after the effective date of revised Terms means you accept them to the extent permitted by law.
